Meet Ozzy's owners...

Since backpacking Australia 20 years ago in a clapped out banger, we dreamed of owning our own camper van and exploring the winding coastal roads of the UK. That dream became a reality in 2017 beginning years of pursuing hidden gems off the beaten track with our three kids. In 2023 we sold our VW T5 and bought this 'solid as a rock' Fiat Ducati and spent the summer lovingly converting it into a scandi/boho style camper called Ozzy! 

Years of van life experience means we totally get the importance of having a comfortable and reliable vehicle that meets the demands of the road. Ozzy is equipped with all the essentials for those memory making moments, including a cozy sleeping quarters with a proper bed, a fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials to make your trip stress free and fun!

We're 100% committed to making sure your rental experience is as good as it gets, whether you're planning a cheeky weekend away or the road-trip of a lifetime - let's get the show on the road!

  • Rental Pricing:

    We operate a seasonal pricing structure: Ranging from £85 per night in the Low Season to £127.50 per night in the Peak Season. Minumum booking is for 3 nights.  You can book for less than that but a surcharge will be applied to compensate.

    Security Deposit:

    We will require a security deposit from you (in line with our van ins policy) in case of minor accidental damage or breakages to items inside or outside the vehicle.

    A deposit of £750 will be required. We will place a hold (pre-authorisation) on the payment card on the first day of travel. This hold will be released no later than 7 days after your hire has ended if the vehicle is returned in the same condition you received it in.

    In the event that something is broken or damaged we will only retain the amount that is required to replace or repair said item(s).

    In the event that you collect a parking fine, toll fee etc we will use the deposit to make repayments.

    Included in rental price:

    Items included in the rental price: Vehicle insurance, breakdown cover, kitchen equipment, cooking gas, 240v electric hook up cable connectors, camping table & chairs, portable toilet, table top games, basic amenities + A few welcome essentials - tea bags/ coffee/ cooking oil/ sauces

    (Once you have made a booking we will email our Operating Manual to you).

  • Our online booking system is pretty straight forward but if you have any issues just give us a call. You'll need to select your pick-up and drop-off dates, and decide on any additional equipment or services; bedding packs or bbq's etc. Once you've made the booking we will confirm the main driver(s) meets all the legal requirements for hire.

    Required documents for booking include; a valid drivers license photo card, two proofs of address, a signed rental agreement.

    (If you're an international traveller;  your passport and international driving permit will be required).

    We recommend booking well in advance, especially for peak travel seasons, to ensure Ozzy's availability.

  • Cancellation Policy

    We understand that circumstances can change, so please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking. Thank you for your understanding.

    Cancellations made more than 6 weeks before the rental start date will receive a full refund.
    Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days before the rental start date will receive a 50% refund.

    Cancellations made within 14 days of the rental start date are non-refundable.*

    *We highly recommend that you take out your own personal holiday insurance in the event you have to cancel the holiday at last the minute.

  • Yes, you will need to sign a Rental Agreement before your hire is confirmed. Once you have made your booking we will email it to you. If you would like to preview the agreement please complete the contact form below and we'll email it over to you.

  • Insurance is covered in the rental price. There's a number of checks we need to do to ensure the driver(s) is eligible. But here's everything you need to know...

    Driver(s) ID Check:

    We'll need the following from each driver:

    • The driver or drivers will need to  send through a copy of their photo Drivers license (address & id must be up to date)
    • X2 proof of address (dated within 3 months of hire dates). Address on documents must match address on license.
    • Complete online license check and send through code to us - https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence
    • Please send through all documentation ASAP to avoid disappointment if the driver is not eligible.

    Insurance Limitations:

    • The driver must be the person paying for the booking
    • Drivers must be between the age of 21 and 70.
    • Drivers between 21 & 24 yrs of age must have held a full driving license for 24 months
    • Drivers over 25 must have held a full driving license for more than 12 months

    Insurance Claim:

    In the event of a vehicle accident which results in an insurance claim there will be an excess of  £750. Drivers younger than 25 will need to pay an additional £400 excess.

  • YES! You will need to book and pay for your own campsites. Ozzy is classed as a Campervan (some sites will say motorhome). If you require an electric hook-up for use with 240v appliances (such as hair straighteners/dryer) you will need to ensure this is included in your campsite booking.

  • We’re very happy for you to leave your car parked safely on the drive of our home. However, it will be left at your own risk.

  • Small/medium sized well behaved dogs are welcome but we ask that they are kept off the bed to prevent accidental soiling of the bedding and mattress and please clean muddy paws before they jump back into the van!
